Mohammad Mokammel Haque Khan, chairman of Syeda Hosne Ara-Alam Khan Foundation, gave cash assistance to the distressed families injured in the attack of elephants in Karnaphuli Upazila Baruthan.
Mohammad Mokammel Haque Khan, chairman of "Syeda Hosne Ara-Alam Khan Foundation" and recipient of the Prime Minister's National Award for Tree Plantation, gave cash assistance to the families injured in the elephant attack in Karnaphuli Upazila Baruthan on Saturday. Foundation Secretary Md. Rezaul Haque Khan and Md. Kaiser were present at this time. Last November 08, a wild elephant attacked a house in Baruthan, Khottapara area of Karnaphuli upazila and seriously injured Mohammad Karim's wife Zaria Begum. Currently, he is in an unconscious condition under treatment at Chittagong Medical Hospital.
Consulted Dr. Ershad Alam, assistant professor of surgery department and inquired about the treatment. He met with CMC Hospital Deputy Director to improve treatment arrangements and called for all treatment arrangements to be ensured.
He said, he assured to arrange whatever needs to be done for the sake of treatment. The foundation chairman called upon the people of the society to come forward for financial support including treatment of the poor and helpless.
