Police found a fake Mobil factory and showroom in a raid at Shariatpur bus stand area on Saturday night. Palang Model Police Station men seized a showroom equipped with large number of fake mobil and different brands of mobil as well as a factory that produced fake mobil.
During this time, Police recovered mobil of various famous brands, raw materials for producing mobil, labels of different mobil company, empty bottles, cork and machines for producing and pakaging mobil. Two men named Rubel Sardar and Akash Hossain were arrested for being involved in the fake mobil facory of Sohel Sardar. Police are preparing to file a case against them informed police source.
Palang Model Police Station sources said upon receiving information of Sohel Sardar supplying fake mobil to an institution named Masers Oil Supply, located at the bus stand area Palang Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Aslam Uddin led the raid.
Local sources said that this group has been associated with misdeeds for a long time with the help of some local influencial people. Earlier, the used to operate a similar business in Barakandi area of Jajira. They also sell foreign liquor, beer and drugs beside producing fake mobil.
Palang Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Aslam Uddin said that this group has destroyed vehicles and diesel powered engines by producing and selling fake mobil. During the raid, we seized raw materials and fake mobil and arrested two people involved. A case will be filed against them under the Special Power Act.
