A fake examinee was detained and then jailed for a month for participating in recruitment examination as a proxy for the post of computer operator in union parishad under Thakurgaon district.
Atiqur Rahman, 29, was detained during the test at the Government Boys and Girls High School center at 10 am on Friday. Atiqur Rahman, after being challenged by Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Abdullah-Al-Mamun while performing his magisterial duty, revealed that he was working as an assistant engineer for a private company.
He came, from Dinajpur, to Thakurgaon to take part in a recruitment test for exchange of money. Abdullah-Al-Mamun sentenced him to a month imprisonment.
