The extended work of Ishwardi Upazila Complex and Hall Room at the cost of Tk 7cr started on Thursday.
Galibur Rahman Sharif, MP, from Pabna-4 Constituency inaugurtaed the work as the chief guest. A meeting of elite has been arranged in Upazila Complex marking the construction.
Gabilur Rahman said that these development work are being done for the wellbeing of the general peopele according to the advice of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina.
The Lawmaker has ordered the UNO and the LGED Thana engineer to supervice the work.
Local Government Engineer Department (LGED) arranged the meeting.
UNO Subir Kumar Das presided over the progrmme while Upazial Engineer Enamul Kabir delivered the address of welcome.
Upazila Chairman (Acting) Abdus Salam Khan and Mahila Vice Chairman Atia Ferdous Kakoli, were the special guests.
Upazila Engineer Enamul Kabir informed that the estaminated cost of the work has been fixed at Tk 7cr 29lakh 75 thousdand and the extended work will be completed within the end of 2025.
