A Qatar expatriate was stabbed to death by miscreants at Haiderpur village in Tukerbazar area in Sylhet on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Fahim Ahmed, 25, son of Abdul Manik of the village. He returned from Qatar three-four months back.
Akil Uddin Ahmed, OC of Jalalabad Police Station, said the miscreants stabbed him indiscriminately and dumped the body near his house in the night. On information, police recovered the body. Police said miscreants might have killed him over previous enmity.
