Spending hours, days and months in the ensuing coronavirus epidemic it has brought forth a new meaning to the term “almost normal”. It is at these times of abnormality that we understand the lack of a normal life. Despite this, life is coming back to its normal posture as offices have opened up and youths have taken to the fields to play outdoor games once again.

However, even if everything is slowly going back to normal, we cannot forget that a proper vaccine has not yet been discovered. Thus, it would be prudent for people to still follow the minimum health discipline for the betterment of one’s individual self and also that of others.

A report published in this daily says that normalcy has almost returned to all arenas in Bangladesh after about six months of the Covid-19 pandemic. Shopping malls, offices, religious establishments, all have opened their doors to the people once again and general public are throning these places.

We should not forget the number of deaths that

has resulted from the outbreak in the country which is yet to fully recover,

and adhere to the general health rules as

prescribed by various health organisations

On the other hand, we should not forget the number of deaths that has resulted from the outbreak of this rogue virus in the country which is yet to fully recover from the havoc it suffered. We should adhere to the general health rules as prescribed by various health organisations. This needs to be followed until there is a concrete vaccine available to the citizens.

Moreover, the institutions and businesses that have opened up should not relax their vigilance against the virus and keep maintaining their disinfecting procedures at the entrance of their establishments. Also, temperature checking equipment must be available at the entrance, so that anyone with fever can be detected and singled out for treatment.

It is a happy sign that the country is slowly getting back to its normal nature. But without progress of the economy it would be difficult to further the motion towards development and there is risk of losing that has been gained. Hence, it is absolutely necessary for the people to follow the general health rules, so that the viral pandemic may not worsen in the country.
