Ethnic minority students get bicycles in Natore

Bicycles were distributed among indigenous students living in the Baraigram plains of Natore on Wednesday noon.

Professor Abdul Quddus, MP from Natore-4 constituency and District AL unit President, handed over the bicycles to 30 indigenous students as the chief guest.

Upazila Chairman Siddiqur Rahman Patwari, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Anwar Parvez, Municipal Mayor KM Zakir Hossain, Women Vice Chairman Suraiya Akhter Kali and others were present at the time.

The bicycles were provided to 20 female and 10 male students of tribal families of the upazila in the financial year 1019-20 under the program titled Development Assistance for Special Areas being implemented by the Prime Minister's Office. 

After the students received the bicycles, they thanked the Prime Minister and brought out a joyous rally while maintaining social distance. The rally encircled the main road of Bonpara in Natore town.
