The Bogura District Office of BSCIC (Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation) recently organised a five-day Entrepreneur Development Training Course, which concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony.
The event took place on Thursday in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
The Deputy Commissioner, Hosna Afroza, attended as the chief guest, while Kalam Azad, General Secretary of Bogura Press Club, and Rahat Ritu, Vice President, were present as special guests. The event was presided over by AKM Mahfuzur Rahman, Deputy General Manager of BSCIC Bogura, and the welcome speech was delivered by Abu Hashem, Deputy Manager. The training was coordinated by Extension Officer Ms. Momtaz Begum.
It was informed that 25 participants received training from 17th to 21st August 2025, covering essential topics including business planning. The course is designed for educated young men and women interested in starting their own businesses but lacking guidance on how to do so with limited capital.
The programme provided practical knowledge in marketing, production, organisation, and finance. Upon completion, participants were better equipped to launch and manage enterprises with a fresh perspective and enhanced skills.
Certificates were handed over by the Deputy Commissioner and other dignitaries.
