A three-day long Ekushey Book Fair and Club Festival was began at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia. The alliance of Social and Cultural organisation (Oikkyo Mancha) organized the fair at the Bangla Mancha premises.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam inaugurated the fair around 12:00pm while Pro Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Mahbubur Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan were present.
University proctor Professor Dr Shahadat Hossain Azad, ANH group Managing Director Mokaddes Hanif Tolin were also present at that time.
In the fair in total 20 stalls are set up by differents social, culture and volunteers organisations including Tarunno, Cancer Awarness Programme (CAP), Rotaract Club and Tarun Column Lekhak Forum.
