Eid shopping gains momentum in Jamalpur

There are not many days left for Eid. On the occasion of this Eid, Eid shopping has started gathering in Jamalpur. Markets, fashion houses, various cosmetics shops, shoe shops and cloth shops are getting crowded.  Along with that, the sidewalk vendors are having a busy time.  Seeing such a gathering of buyers, sellers are expecting good sales this Eid.

Buyers say that the price of clothes is relatively high this time, even after Eid, they are shopping for the family within their means.

On Tuesday (March 2) the city's Gatepar, Kathakali Market, Tamaltala, Sakal Bazar and Bakultala Market-Binanibitan fashion houses and shopping malls can be seen, shoppers are gathering for Eid shopping since dusk and shopkeepers are also having a busy time.  Especially during the day, the buyers want to avoid traffic jams and crowds of people, so the markets are relatively crowded after Iftar.  Having visited different markets, prices vary with the novelty of clothes in these places.  The price of each garment has increased slightly. The cloth merchants of Tamaltala area of Jamalpur city said that after the 15th fast of the holy month of Ramadan, there is a good presence of buyers but during the day the number of buyers is relatively less but as the evening falls, the shops are selling well.  All in all, there is a possibility of good sales this Eid.

Noor Alam, another cloth merchant from Tamaltala area of the city, said that according to the demand of the customers, we have put up all kinds of clothes in the shop, but compared to that, the sales are less.

A cloth merchant in Bakultala area of the city said, this time keeping in mind the needs of the customers, we have brought different designs of clothes.  After 15 o'clock in the fast, the crowd of buyers is seen.  Hope the sales will be good this time.

In the afternoon, Motakkabir Hossain came to buy shoes for father and daughter. He said, the price of shoes for adults and children is close. I bought a pair of shoes for my father for 13 thousand rupees and I bought a pair of shoes for my 7-year-old daughter for 12 thousand rupees. He also said that children and adults are good.  The collection is available in almost all stores but the prices are high.  It would be nice if the price of the children's items were a little lower.

Another customer named Farzana Akhter Sathi said, "My husband is a businessman and he is always busy.  So I bought Punjabi, pants and shoes for him, not yet bought anything for kids, will come again.  This time the price is much higher than last time, but I am happy to buy as I like.

Meanwhile, last Sunday (March 1) afternoon in the conference room of the office of the Superintendent of Police, a discussion meeting was held with the officers working in the traffic on traffic policing management to resolve the traffic congestion in the city.  Police Superintendent Md presided over the said meeting.  Kamruzzaman BPM.

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, people at work in different parts of the country will return home to celebrate Eid with their families.  The road map of traffic and ensuring safe safety were discussed so that the general public does not suffer.  Additional Police Super Crime and Ops Jamalpur Md.  Sohail Mahmud PPM along with senior officers of district police and all levels of police working in traffic.

It has been seen on the ground that the traffic police are working tirelessly from morning to evening to clear the traffic jam in the city around the holy Eid-ul-Fitr.  They are located at important points of the city.
