Eid reunion of Bangabandhu Parishad held at Ishwardi

Eid reunion and discussion meeting has been organized by Bangabandhu Parishad Ishwardi Upazila Branch.

The Eid reunion and discussion meeting was held at Joynagar in Salimpur of the upazila on Tuesday evening. Nuruzzaman Biswas, Member of Parliament for Pabna-4 (Ishwardi-Atgharia) constituency spoke as the chief guest. Atiyar Rahman, convener of Ishwardi branch of Bangabandhu Parishad presided over the function.

The chief guest Nuruzzaman Biswas MP said, the youth should take the country forward by following the ideals of Bangabandhu. Therefore, the leaders of Bangabandhu Parishad have to work by formulating constructive, guiding programs to move the country forward to motivate the youth. He said no one else needs to be lazy. Bangabandhu Parishad will run according to the rules of the organization.

At the time, among others, Bangabandhu Parishad Central Committee Finance Secretary Jalal Uddin Tuhin, Rajshahi University Teachers Association Treasurer Professor. Kamruzzaman, Mostaq Ahmed Kiran, former president of Ishwardi Press Club, Khandaker Mahabubul Haque Dudu, Ishwardi correspondent of Daily Ajker Kagoj, Zulmat Haider, president of Upazila Rice and Mill Owners Association, Matiar Rahman, college teacher, Imrul Kayes Dara, former VP of Ishwardi Government College, lawyer Lutfar Rahman , Businessman Ratan Mahaldar, teacher Shiuli Khatun and others. Lecturer Shahidul Haque Shahin, joint convener of Bangabandhu Parishad Ishwardi Upazila Branch was present at the discussion. Apart from the committee members, members of various social and professional organizations including lawyers, journalists, businessmen and teachers were also present on the occasion.

In the discussion meeting, it was decided to visit the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on behalf of Bangabandhu Parishad Ishwardi branch in Gopalganj on 5 August.
