Like every year, University of Dhaka (DU) hosted a rally, cultural function and fair at the Teacher-Student Center (TSC) from afternoon till evening. Representatives of different districts held banners to convey Eid greeting to the attendees at the event.
Bangladesh Eid Shobhajatra Parishad President Aminul Islam Tubbus presided over the event. Dhaka Metropolitan Dakkhin Awami League President Haji Abul Hasnat inaugurated the function with chief guest DU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman. Event convener Mohammad Musa and internationally renowned sculptor Mrinal Haque gave the welcome speech.
Bdclick General Secretary Arif Ahmed, Brain and Life Hospital proprietor Fakhrul Hossain, Dhaka Youth Foundation President Shahid Mahmud Shahidullah, Bidyaloy Campus newspaper Editor-in-Chief Dr M Helal, Rado Shoe manager Md Sirajul Islam, Dhaka Round Table President A Ezaz Mahmud Ronny, Md Moktar Hossain, Kobi Nazrul Parishad’s Mokhtadir and Puran Dhaka Nagorik Uddeg Nazimuddin Ahmed Nazim were among the special guests. The event was hosted by Jhumur and Saqlain and the music direction was by Babul.
