Food items have been distributed on the eve of Eid-ul-Adha at Sarishabari upazila in Jamalpur at the initiative of Tarafder Bari Freedom Fighters Foundation of Pogaldigha Union.
The food items were distributed among more than 300 flood-affected families in different villages including Kalipur, Malipara, Gobindpatal, Manikpatal and Takuria in Pogaldigha Union of the upazila on Thursday.
AKM Mozammel Haque Tarafdar, Adviser Member of Upazila AL unit, Habu Tarafdar, General Secretary of Ward 7 AL unit, Asaduzzaman Poppy, Convener of Union Juba League and others were present at the time.
In each packet distributed among the flood affected families there were Chira, Muri, sugar, milk, Semai etc.
