On behalf of Jawad Tajwar Mahbub and Shakib Tajwar Mahbub, sons of Additional IG of Bangladesh Police Mahbub Hossain, Eid clothes were distributed among unprivileged children at Dakshin Islampur Balur field in Munshiganj Sadar Upazila on Tuesday morning.
Md. Khaled Chowdhury, a journalist from Southeast Asia, Md. Robel, District Correspondent of Daily Bangladesh Post, Md. Emon Hossain, Editor of Daily Munshiganjer Alo and others were present at the occasion.
During the distribution of clothes, Md. Emon Hossain said that Jawad Tajwar Mahbub and Shakib Tajwar Mahbub provided the Eid items. They are trying to help as much as they can.
Md. Robel, District Correspondent of Daily Bangladesh Post said, “There are many rich people in the society but they do not think much about the poor and unprivileged of the society.
Today, Jawad Tajwar Mahbub and Shakib Tajwar Mahbub have provided Eid clothes to the poorest children, thinking about them”. He also thanked them very much for the initiative.
They all hope that in the coming days these two brothers will take the initiative to put a smile on the faces of the poor people in the same way.
Jawad Tajwar Mahbub and Shakib Tajwar Mahbub said, “Poor and destitute children feel the lack of new clothes ahead of Eid as they can not afford to buy new clothes. So that they can celebrate Eid beautifully, it is our small effort to make them smile and we will hopefully continue this kind of cooperation in future as well.”
