On this occasion, CU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Prof. Benu Kumar Dey, Dean of Marine Sciences and Fisheries Faculty Prof. Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam, CU Registrar (Acting) Prof. SM Monirul Hasan and Institute of Marine Sciences Prof. Dr. Md. M. Maruf Hossain and Institute's associate professor Ayesha Akhter, Muhammad Mustafa Manwar, Dr. Mohammad Shahnewaz Chowdhury were present.
The delegation visited the beautiful green campus of Chittagong University.
CU VC said that China is a genuine friend country for the development of Bangladesh. The education program of Confucius Center in Chittagong University is ongoing with the cooperation of China Embassy in Bangladesh. She sought the cooperation of the Chinese delegation to create opportunities for teacher-student exchange and mutual research of Chittagong University and various universities and research centers of the Republic of China with the aim of opening up new horizons of knowledge and research.
