Sadia Rezuan Luna, known as Kishoreganj's entrepreneur wife, started a Facebook group called Mymensingh E-Commerce Cart earlier this year with various entrepreneurs besides job. In just a few months, her group has become quite popular. Beyond the borders of Mymensingh, it has members and entrepreneurs from all over the country.
All the entrepreneurs in this group have witnessed small and big successes. Their confidence has increased several times after making a profit by selling their own products and local products. They have now chosen Mymensingh E-Commerce Cart as a way to build financial viability and future.
At present, the group has about 2,000 small and medium entrepreneurs who are expanding their business through this online platform. Most of these entrepreneurs are women. There are also some new entrepreneurs who are students of different universities and colleges in the country. They are developing themselves as entrepreneurs by utilizing creativity.
Luna's husband Rezuan Ahmed Shuvro is a permanent resident of Harua area of Kishoreganj district town. While studying at Rajshahi University, he was the Vice-President of the University Student League. He is currently the Head of the Department of Management at the Jatiya Kobi Kazi Nazrul Islam University.
Entrepreneurs say that the platform has now become a well-known group in the world of e-commerce. The group formed in a very short time is moving forward with success. Entrepreneurs have made a bet by selling their own products through this group. Based on this Facebook group, they have seen a profit by selling their products in the country and abroad.
Sadia Rezuan Luna, founder of the group, said the Mymensingh E-commerce Cart group was started in an effort to do something good for everyone. Her main goal is to contribute to the economic development of the country by creating a link between the products of small and medium entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs-buyers in different districts.
