Durbar Tarunno, a popular social and voluntary organization of Bangladesh, has been providing various support to flood victims in Satkania upazila of Chattogram.
When the flood waters receded, relief was distributed to hundreds of families. After that, when the water recedes, Chairman of Durbar Tarunno Foundation, Muhammad Abu Abid will visit Satkania and help in the repair of houses in a video message.
On Thursday, 27 families in Satkania of Chattogram were given cash to repair their houses.
Muhammad Abu Abid said, seeing our video, Awami League leader of Chattogram city Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor wants to know the condition of Satkania from me. He was under treatment in Dhaka at that time. After hearing everything and should hurry to Satkania. I will do as much as I can. I came to Satkania and tried to convey his cooperation. It is our peace that we have been able to keep our word even of late.
He said, the number of our volunteers in Satkania is not less. Their families are also affected by this danger. We cannot afford to support everyone. But tried to help middle class families. It is very insignificant compared to the people affected. But if we all come forward, only then will it be possible to overcome this loss.
Its known that Durbar Tarunno Foundation has already won the Bangladesh Youth Volunteer Award by implementing other social work ideas. Durbar Tarunno, a youth-based social organization, was also awarded the "Covid-19 Warrior" award for its work during the Corona period.
