Dulal Mahmud, the editor of the fortnightly sports magazine Krira Jagat, was honoured with the Legend of AIPS Asia award in Kathmandu, Nepal on Friday.
Dulal, along with five sports journalists from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, India and Nepal have also was honoured with the same award by the International Sports Press Association, Asia for their life-time contribution in sports. It is the second time that the AIPS honoured the renowned sports journalists from different countries. Dulal, a former president and general secretary of Bangladesh Sports Press Association BSPA), received the crest from AIPS vice-president Ioannis Daras.
