The Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS) of Dhaka University (DU) and AFC-Agro-Biotech Ltd. was signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday at the VC’s lounge of DU to develop and produce Covid-19 vaccine (DUBD-vac) jointly.
Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman was present on this occasion, said a press release.
Treasurer of DU Prof Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed and Executive Chairman of AFC-Agro-Biotech Ltd Maj Gen (Retired) Md Sarwar Hossain signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.

According to the MoU, Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS) of DU and AFC-Agro-Biotech Ltd.
will jointly work for innovation of various vaccines including development and production of Covid-19 vaccine (DUBD-vac).
