DU announces EMPA admission for 2023-24

The Department of Public Administration at Dhaka University has announced the commencement of the admission process for the Executive Masters of Public Administration (EMPA) course for the academic year 2023-24. This one-year program is designed to cater to the needs of professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in public administration.

The EMPA program covers a range of subjects, including Human Resource Management, Performance Management, Public Policy Analysis, Advanced Social Research Methodology, Innovation and Change Management, Climate Change and Disaster Management, Financial and Project Management, and Local Government. The program is aimed at providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of public administration. To be eligible for the EMPA program, interested candidates must possess a four-year bachelor's degree from a UGC-approved university, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations.

The admission process will include a written test, an oral test, and an assessment of academic results. The last date for application submission is 30th April 2024, and the admission test, result, and vivar date are scheduled for 10th May 2024. The results of the selected students will be published on 12th May, and the last date for final admission is 26th June.

Candidates can collect the application form from the Public Administration Department's office, located on the 11th floor of the Social Science Building.
