Members of Rapid Action Batallian (RAB)-1 of Gazipur Purabari camp arrested a drug trader from North Salna in the district on Friday morning.
The arrestee was identified as Apon Mia, 38, son of Mohammad Ali of Poradaha village under Mirpur thana in Kustia district.
Abdullah Al Mamun, Company Commander of the camp, confirmed the matter. He said that on secret information they raided Salna area at about 6:00 am and arrested him with 190 grams of cannabis. A case was filed with Gazipur metro police station against the arrestee, he added.
