Detective Branch (DB) of Bhola Police has detained a drug peddler along with yaba in a special drive in the district.
He was detained from Charsifli Village of Sadar Upazila around 11:00am on Monday.
The arrestee was identified as Parvej Kazi, 25, resident of Ward No 8 of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhola DB Police Mohammad Shahidul Islam said “acting on a tip off, a team of DB police conducted drive in the area and nabbed Parvej along with five pieces of yaba’.
A case was filed against him with Bhola Sadar Model Police Station under Narcotics Control Act, the OC said.
