Police recovered the body of a drug dealer from an abandoned Chatalkal at Khariyala under Ashuganj town of Brahmanbaria on Sunday morning.
Knife wounds were found at several parts in the chest and abdomen of the victim. Police believe the miscreants stabbed him and killed him.
The deceased was identified as Sumon Mia, 30, son of Yousuf Miah, hailed from Modon Para under Khariyala upazila of the district.
He has four drug cases and was arrested at least ten times and sent to jail.
Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Ashuganj Police Station Moynal Hossain said Suman was a drug trader.
He has multiple knife injuries on his body.
The body was recovered and sent to the morgue of the District Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
