RAB arrested a drug dealer named Rezaul Karim in Pabna with 5 grams of heroin on Sunday afternoon.
The drug dealer was arrested from Afuria village in Hemayetpur union under Pabna Sadar upazila.
According to a press release issued by RAB-12, CPC-2 Pabna Camp, a special RAB expedition team led by Acting Company Commander Mohammad Aminul Kabir Tarafdar conducted an operation in Afuria village of Hemayetpur Union on the basis of secret information.
At that time drug dealer Md. Rezaul Karim was arrested with 5 grams of heroin. Rezaul is the son of Md. Amser Sheikh of Gachpara area under Maligachha union of Pabna Sadar upazila.
RAB further said that Rezaul had been buying and selling illegal narcotics, heroin in different areas for a long time.
A case has been filed with Pabna police station in this regard.
