Drinking water, saline distributed among people

To help people cope with the severe heatwave, Bahumukhi Manab Kalyan Sangstha distributed drinking water and saline at two locations in Chuadanga town on Sunday. 

The initiative aims to support low-income individuals during the scorching heat and it will continue for several days.

Around 2,000 bottles of drinking water and 1,000 packets of saline will be provided to different low-income groups through this programme, ensuring they stay hydrated and healthy during the heatwave.

The programme kicked off with an inaugural function where Mahfuzur Rahman Munju, the Zilla Parishad Chairman, officially launched the initiative. Zahangir Alam Malik, the mayor of Chuadanga Pourasabha; Kamruzzaman, a retired principal of Chuadanga Govt College; Siddiqur Rahman, a retired principal of Darshana Govt College; Alimuzaman, a traffic inspector; Amirul Islam, executive director of Bahumukhi Manab Kalyan Sangstha; and Bipul Ashraf, general secretary of Chuadanga Press Club, among others, were present.
