A village doctor was killed in a motorcycle collision at the Bypass road in Satkhira at around 10.30am on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Shamim Ahmed, 43, son of Siddique Hossain hailed from Bakchara village under Sadar upazila of Satkhira district.
Officer-in-Charge of Satkhira Sadar Police Station Mostafir Rahman said a motorcycle collided head-on with a speeding motorcycle on the bypass road. The bicyclist was seriously injured in the accident. The locals rescued him and took him to the Satkhira Sadar Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
