Citizens under Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) area will get various information, citizen services and settlement of dispute by calling Citizen Service Hotline Number ‘333’.

Through this, citizens will get information on various services under the DNCC for 24 hours and 365 days throughout the year. DNCC is the first of the 11 city corporations to provide such services.

The service was officially inaugurated on Tuesday at a programme at Nagar Bhavan, Gulshan in the capital. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the service as the chief guest while DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam chaired the programme.

At the event, Palak said, “DNCC has become the first city corporation to be associated with this modern service providing programme. DNCC Mayor has kept in touch with us all the time. Because of his relentless efforts, the City Corporation's services today receive a digital platform.”

He also said, “We are giving approximately 164 types of digital services through our ‘One- Service (Ek Seba)’ platform. Even the illiterate would also get the service easily. If anyone wants any service over the phone, a representative from the city corporation would immediately reach the person to provide the required service.”

In his speech, DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam said, “We are launching the service from now, but successful implementation of the service is the big challenge.”

Earlier, the Dhaka south and north city corporations jointly introduced a hotline - 09611000999 - aimed at cleaning waste of sacrificial animals within 24 hours.
