Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman provided financial assistance for the treatment of 271 injured and sick policemen and for the families of deceased policemen.
DMP Commissioner handed over the financial grant of Tk 72.70 lakh in favour of 217 policemen in the conference room of DMP headquarters on Monday.After giving financial donation, the DMP Commissioner said, “We believe that Dhaka Metropolitan Police is a family. Our financial support will continue.” Expressing sympathy to the sick members of DMP and wishing them relief from the disease, the commissioner said “Those who were injured while protecting the lives and property of the people are our colleagues. Maximum treatment will be given to cure them.”
The DMP Commissioner said that the best specialist doctors sit in the government hospitals of Bangladesh. For this reason, if someone needs treatment, all types of treatment will be arranged there under the management of DMP.
“Besides, if you get treatment in a government hospital, you will get the services of a good specialist doctor. If necessary I will speak,” he added.
