The divisional development coordination meeting was held on Sunday at local Circuit House on the implementation and progress of ongoing development activities of Chattogram division.
Divisional Commissioner (Acting) Dr. Prakash Kanti Chowdhury presided over the meeting with the participation of all District Administrators of Chattogram Division and heads or representatives of government and local government institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Prakash Kanti Chowdhury said the country is on the highway of development under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He emphasized on successful completion of ongoing development projects to realize the dream of building 'Smart Bangladesh' by 2041.
“Every project must be executed ensuring complete quality and on time.” he said. He called upon the deputy commissioners to ensure that the development activities are carried out timely.
He also urged the participants to ensure cultivation in all arable lands to deal with the ongoing global recession. “Energy saving should be given importance. Besides, water and environmental pollution should be minimized to reduce its impact on the environment," he added.
