Advocate AHM Ziauddin, Former convenor of city Awami Swechasebak League, Former general secretary of Chattogram Lawyers' Association, has distributed relief among 200 families affected by floods caused by heavy rains and mountain runoff in Chattogram's Banshkhali.
On Sunday morning, these reliefs were distributed among the victims of floods caused by heavy rains in Laljibon area of Shekerkhil Union of Upazila.
UP members Dr. Saiful Amin, Zahir Uddin Mohammad Babar, Nabi Hossain, Tauhidul Islam, Khorshed Alam, Shafiqur Rahman, Golam Azam, Ahmed Hossain, Ishaq and Nurul Hossain were present.
During the distribution of relief, Advocate AHM Ziauddin said, "Due to heavy rain, there has been extensive damage in this area. Relief assistance has been given to about 200 families in this union.
In the future, various types of support will be provided to the victims including more relief assistance.
