Disinfection tunnel set up by Army

A disinfection tunnel prepared by the Army has been inaugurated in Satkhira to prevent coronavirus.  The tunnel was set up at the hospital intersection in Satkhira town on Tuesday (May 12.  

The tunnel was officially inaugurated by Army members including District Nezarat Deputy Collector (NDC) Swajal Mollah and Captain Jisan. Executive Magistrate Indrajith Saha was present at the time.

The tunnel, which was developed with full domestic technology at a cost of around Tk 200,000 courtesy of 9 East Bengal of the 55th Infantry Division of the Bangladesh Army, has been set up in other districts of the country including Satkhira under the supervision of the Army. 

It will continue under the supervision of the district administration. Ordinary people, including small cars, can enter the town through the tunnel and get out of the town. At present, the district residents think that it will play an effective role in preventing the corona virus.
