Sunamganj municipality has started special activities to prevent coronavirus infection by spraying disinfectants on the roads and transports plying on the roads in Sunamganj.
Sunamganj Fire Service personnel led by Municipal Mayor Nader Bakht conducted this programme at various area of the town including Alfat Uddin Square, Moddho Bazar, Kazirpoint and DS Road on Thursday.
At the time, Sunamganj Municipal Panel Mayor Hussein Ahmed Russell, Councilor Golam Sabirin Sabu, Sunamganj Fire Service Team Leader Md. Haider Ali and municipality officials were present among others.
Municipal Mayor Nadeer Bakht said, "To prevent the transmission of the coronavirus, we have begun the work of spraying disinfectant on all the streets of the municipality”. He said the work will continue for the next one week and urged everyone to stay at their home.
