A virtual meeting was held by Bangabandhu Parishad of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation on January 24 on the occasion of Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Chairman of BHBFC Prof Dr Md Salim Uddin was connected in as the chief guest and the meeting was presided by the president of Bangabandhu Parishad, BHBFC branch Tarek Imtiaz Khan. Connected as special guests were Managing Director (Add. Charge) of BHBFC Mr. Arun Kumar Chowdhury and members of governing body of Central Bangabandhu Parishad Dr. Sheikh Abdullah al Mamun and Mr. Abdul Matin Bhuiyan.
Professor Dr. Md. Salim Uddin said, 10 January is an ever memorable day in the history of bengali nation. Special guest Managing Director (Add. Charge) Arun Kumar Chowdhury said, the independence of Bangladesh and the home-coming of Bangabandhu are inseparably related. Depicting historical background of the home-coming of Bangabandhu on 10 January, special guests Dr. Sheikh Abdullah al Mamun and Abdul Matin Bhuiyan said, speech on 7 March and home-coming on 10 January of Bangabandhu hold equal significance for the nation.
BHBFC Bangabandhu Parishad and Deputy General Manager Md. Khairul Islam also spoke.
Convener of Officer’s Welfare Association and Assistant General Manager Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam ; Organizing Secretary of BHBFC Bangabandhu Parishad and Senior Principal Officer Mr. Ellias Uddin Mollah; General Secretary and Principal Officer Mr. Md. Enamul Hoque; President and Senior Principal Officer Mr. Tarek Imtiaz Khan and General Secretary of Bangamata Parishad and Senior Officer Mr. Md. Abu Saeed. Advisor of BHBFC Bangabandhu Parishad and Assistant General Manager Mr. Ananda Kumar Ghosh conducted the meeting as host. Officials-staffs from all levels of head office and field offices of BHBFC participated in the meeting.
