Directorate of Disaster Management officers and employees who working in Narail district has submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister demanding the approval of the organogram proposed by the Directorate of Disaster Management, promotion of the post of District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer to the 6th grade and the post of Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) to the 9th grade and the change of designation and promotion of the employees who working in the Directorate of Disaster Management.The memorandum was given to the Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Habibur Rahman along with the Prime Minister around 12:00 noon on Thursday.
Kalia Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Abul Kalam Miyaji, Narail Sadar Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Most. Nasreen Sultana, Lohagora Upazila Project Implementation Officer (PIO) Md Irafil Hossain, Office assistants Md Ziaur Rahman, Md. Moniruzzaman, Avijit Kumar Mondal and Md Nurul Islam were present during presentation of the memorandum which signed by District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer (Acting) Muhammad Achif Uddin Mia.
Earlier, officers and employees of the Directorate of Disaster Management started a four-day strike last Monday (September 12) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm as part of the central programme to get their five-point demands. The strike ended at 12:00 pm on Thursday.
