Dietitian appointed at Chuadanga


Chuadanga Diabetic Association has appointed a Dietitian and Health Educator at its Diabetic Centre on June 1 for creating awareness of nutrition and giving diet chart to the diabetic patients of the centre. 

Dietitian Umme Atika Mollik Akhi joined as Dietitian and Health Educator at the diabetic center on June 1. Akhi was graduated with honors and MS in Food and Nutrition from Bangladesh Home Economics College under Dhaka University. She completed internship at BIRDEM as dietitian.  

Reazul Islam JoarderToton, President of Diabetic Association, said a huge number of diabetic patients are in the area. They are not aware about their health. 

So we are trying to serve them through our center. Adv. Shamsuzzaha, general secretary of the association  told our diabetic patients that counseling is essential with them through Nutritionist and Dietitian. It may be mentioned here that Umme Atika Mollik Akhi is daughter of Md. Alauddin, correspondent of Bangladesh Post.
