For a nation to prosper both economically and technologically, the tertiary workforce needs to be bigger and significantly enhanced. Our government’s goal is to transform the next generation as talented global citizens by investing in higher education
In a bid to achieve that, the government is taking proper steps and seeking regional cooperation so that our students can receive quality higher education. It is very important for us to reap the potential demographic dividend through skills generation and quality education.
In our country, the problem with our education system lies further. Firstly, we have to formulate the whole education system not only primary and secondary levels as the snags continue up to both higher secondary and even tertiary levels of education.
We need to work together and cooperate with
each other to reap mutual benefits and ensure
sustainable development
Government should make policies and ensure lucrative incentives to the students who will go to foreign shores to gain higher studies. This is because most of the talented bunch remain there and work there which ultimately does not contribute to enhancing our manpower.
With the regional cooperation in the country, we can also try to provide affordable international higher quality education and opportunities. This will safeguard new foreign investments and highly developed manpower which will not only increase employment rate but also the per capita income.
In this era of globalisation, we cannot make progress in any area by walking alone. We need to work together and cooperate with each other to reap mutual benefits and ensure sustainable development.
