Rail communications have resumed along Dhaka-Narayanganj route after being suspended for several hours following a train derailment.

A compartment of Dhaka-bound passenger train derailed at Ukilpara area at around 10:30am on Saturday.
Station master Golam Mostofa told that the derailment cut off rail link of Narayanganj with Dhaka.
No casualty was reported in the incident, said Golam Mostafa.
Earlier, on Thursday, four compartments of another metre-gauge train derailed in the city, halting train communication between Dhaka and Narayanganj.
