The dengue fever season is from June to September. Dengue outbreak has started increasing in Chattogram.

CMC Hospital Deputy Director Dr. Aung Swi Prue Marma said that dengue patients who are admitted to the hospital are being treated separately. But everything is prepared and the situation is normal.

We have taken various initiatives including keeping the upazila health complex clean and spraying medicine to prevent the breeding of Aedes mosquitoes. So far 64 people have been infected with dengue. Among them 23 men, 18 women, 23 children.
