Students from different colleges of Chapainawabganj participated in Democracy Olympiad organised by the Hunger Project Bangladesh at Nawabganj City College on Sunday.
Sushasoner Jonno Nagorik (Sujan), District President of Sujan Aslam Kabir presided over the Olympiad and the Chief Guest was Member of Parliament for Chapainawabganj-3 (Sadar) Constituency Md. Abdul Odud.
Dilip Kumar, Project Manager of 'Voter awareness and civic activism' organised by The Hunger Project conducted the programme.
The special guest at the event was Principal of Tariqul Alam Siddiqui, Sushasoner Jonno Nagorik (Sujan) Rajshahi District Secretary Mahmudul Hasan Masood, Sujan Chapainawabganj District Secretary Manowar Hossain Jewel and others.
This Democracy Olympiad is organised by the Hunger Project, Bangladesh to develop the knowledge of democracy, constitution, voting rights, good governance among the students to make them as a worthy students.
The organization is conducting this programme in 45 parliamentary constituencies across the country. Before the start of the programme, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, an examination was held on 'Democracy, Constitution, Voting Rights, Good Governance and Civil Rights' with the participation of students.
The chief guest Abdul Odud MP gave crests and certificates to the best 10 out of 350 students.
