The severe cold, along with the cold winds blowing from the north, made the severity of the winter more pronounced. Winter is already evident in the rural townships, the severity of winter is being felt heavily in the villages. Poor and starving people are flocking to old warm clothes shops to escape the winter bite. The only hope to escape the winter is the vintage warm clothing store. Warm clothes have been sold in large quantities in markets to prevent winter. Also, the price of other products has increased several times.

Upazila haat-bazar footpath shops are decorated with winter clothes. In the haat-bazaars, old hot clothes sellers have started buying and selling old hot clothes in their shops and the prices of old hot clothes are already increasing. The unsold clothes of the last winter season have been picked up in the stores along with the new arrivals of old warm clothes.

Saiful Islam Nayan, an old cloth dealer of Bara C&B, Sanila, said that lots of old cloth are bought from the Chittagong wholesale old cloth market. Different lots for different types of fabrics. Different garment lots are remarked separately. Lots of old clothes are sold separately in the wholesale market of old clothes in Chittagong. Different lots of sweaters, jean jackets, trousers, courts and jackets. Different lots of different types of clothes. Lot of old hot clothes are taken from Chittagong by traders from all over the country, said Abdur Rauf of Santhia Bangram, a second-hand cloth trader. According to Tarek Mia, an old hot clothes trader in Ishwardi Rail Bazar, first after buying them, open them at home and sort them according to the size and type of clothes. The clothes are folded in a barren manner to be tied in the lot, ironed at home and made as perfect as possible, and the clothes are brought to the market for sale. It is known from Azmat Ali, a second-hand clothes seller in Tebunia Bazaar, that besides second-hand clothes, he also sells new woolen clothes for children at low prices. Regarding the price of new woolen clothes, he said that good old cloth clothes are also sold at high prices, besides buying new blankets, children's clothes are now being made locally. Again, the warm clothes made by the garment factories for export are sold wholesale in the open market due to defects, and these warm clothes are sold at a slightly higher price across the country. When it comes to children's clothes, parents seem to be more interested in buying new clothes than old ones.

Amin Uddin, a seller of old jackets and courts at the C&B old clothes market, said that young people from the middle and upper middle classes, especially those who ride motorcycles, are more interested in jackets. According to the standard, each jacket is sold at the price of 500 to 3000 taka. Old courts are bought by people of almost all ages. Court is sold for 300 to 700 taka. Sometimes the perfect court, jacket can be found in the old clothes yard.

The makers and sellers of the coating in the market are already busy making the coating. When talking to the businessman Shanta Islam, it can be seen that he is watching and listening to the work of the artisans. He talked to him about the price of cotton, the price of cloth and the demand of the buyer. If you go to the shop of cotton ginning trader Sujan in Bara C&B Bazar, you will see that some of his workers are removing the ginned cotton from the ginning machine (dhuna), while others are doing the ginning. All the traders, including Sujan and Shanta, have almost the same words about the price of cotton. In winter, the price of red and coarse cloth for making cotton and lep-tosh increases, but this time as the winter season falls, the price of cotton and cloth is very high.

Due to the sudden increase in the severity of winter, the sale of textiles and old clothes has increased to a large extent in the bazaars of Bara Upazila. The number of customers in the shops has also increased. Zahid, an old clothes dealer of C&B Hut, Sujanagar, said that the more winter falls, the number of winter-wearing people will increase in the old clothes shops, the sale and purchase of clothes will increase several times and the business profit will be good. Many of the old clothes dealers deal in old warm clothes only during the winter season. Millions of poor and helpless people are saved from winter by importing old clothes into the country. No one has to die without being able to fight the cold.
