Like across the country, the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), Alim, and equivalent examinations began on Thursday in Munshiganj district. On the very first day, Munshiganj Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Fatema Tuj Zohra visited several examination centers.
She was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Mahmudur Rahman Khondokar and Munshiganj Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahbubur Rahman. They visited the Government Harganga College and Munshiganj Government Women’s College examination centers. During the visits, they provided necessary instructions to the concerned authorities to ensure that the exams are held in a peaceful and orderly manner.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected the examination environment and security measures to ensure that examinees could take their tests in a comfortable setting. She stated, “All necessary steps have been taken by the administration to ensure that the examinations are free from malpractice, disciplined, and uninterrupted.”
It has been reported that a total of 9,522 candidates are participating in the HSC, Alim, and equivalent examinations this year across 22 centers and 3 venues in Munshiganj district. To ensure smooth conduct of the exams, each center has been placed under administrative monitoring, along with adequate deployment of law enforcement personnel.
The district administration has urged all concerned, including guardians and students, to behave responsibly during the examination period.
