Newly appointed Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bagerhat Mohammad Azizur Rahman has visited half a hundred houses constructed for landless and homeless families in Chitalmari Upazila of the district.
On Thursday, he visited a total of 50 houses, including 45 in Kalatla Union and 5 in Sadar Union under the Prime Minister's Asrayan Project-2.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Shahinuzzaman was present as the tour companion of the Deputy Commissioner.
Among others, Chitalmari Upazila Parishad Chairman Ashok Kumar Baral, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Liton Ali, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Jannatul Afroz Swarna, Upazila Awami League President Md. Babul Hossain Khan, General Secretary Piyush Kanti Roy, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Apurba Das, Sadar UP Chairman Alhaj Sheikh Nizam Uddin and other dignitaries of the area were present at that time.
