Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) PLC, one of the country’s leading private banks, has announced scholarships for students who passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations in 2025.

The bank will provide financial assistance to talented students for two years, covering their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) studies.

Interested candidates must apply online as no applications will be accepted via post, courier, or in person. The deadline for online applications is August 6.

According to the bank, selected students will receive a monthly stipend of Tk 2,500 for two years, totaling Tk 60,000. In addition, they will receive Tk 2,500 per year for study materials and Tk 1,000 for clothing.

To be eligible, students from schools located in city corporation and district town areas must have achieved a GPA of 5.00. Meanwhile, students from rural or underprivileged areas must have secured at least a GPA of 4.83.

However, students already receiving scholarships from other private sources, except for government scholarships, will not be considered for this programme.

Notably, 90 percent of the scholarships are reserved for students from rural and underdeveloped regions, and 50 percent of the total scholarships will be awarded to female students.

Applicants need to upload scanned copies of passport-size colour photographs of themselves and their parents, along with their SSC marksheet and testimonial.

The primary selection list will be published on August 25. Selected students must visit any Dutch-Bangla Bank branch or mobile banking office between August 26 and September 15 with printed copies of their documents for verification.

Final results will be announced through the bank’s official scholarship website.
