Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police unearthed a clueless murder.
The DB team also arrested six alleged killers, including the prime accused in an overnight drive in different parts of the country.
Talking to the Bangladesh Post, DB’s Wari Division Additional Deputy Commissioner Md Azharul Islam Mokul confirmed it on Monday.
The arrested were primarily identified as prime murder Md Bayozid, 22, son of late Sayed Ali, hailing from Monipur Upazil of Habiganj.
The other arrested killer suspects were Md Rasel, 24, son of Khorshed Chokidar, hailing from Kodomtoli , Md Ridoy Haolader alias Saidur, 23, son of Md Jamal Haolader, hailing from Muladi Upzila of Barishal, Md Humayun Kabir, 35, son of Delwar Hossain Haolader, hailing from Kazirhat Upazila of Barishal , Md Ridoy, 17, son of late Selim and Md Selim,30, son of late Mominul Jowarder , hailing from Rowmari of Kurgram district.
During the primary interrogation, the arrested criminal admitted that on April 29, they killed victim Scissor Ahmed by hitting him with irons road on his head in front of Kodomtoli Steel Mills Ltd in the capital Dhaka.
After murdering him, they snatched his battery run rickshaw and his mobile phone. They escaped the spot immediately after killing the driver. They also confessed that they were involved in such several incidents. The accused were produced before a Dhaka Court seeking a seven days remand for each.
