Day temperature may rise slightly over country

The met office on Monday predicted that day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may fall slightly over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am, reports BSS. 

“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country,” said a met office bulletin issued on Monday morning. Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country from midnight to Tuesday morning, said the bulletin. Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Mymensingh, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions and the regions of Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Kishoreganj, Sandwip, Cumilla, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia, Barishal and Bhola and it may continue and spread over the adjacent regions, added it.

 The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 27.0 degrees Celsius in Kutubdia under Chattogram division while Monday’s minimum temperature was 06.6 degrees Celsius in Srimangal under Sylhet division. The sun sets at 5:46 pm on Monday and rises at 6:38 am on Tuesday in the capital.
