Dalia Rahman receives VC Award

Entrepreneur Dalia Rahman received the Vice Chancellor's Gold Medal. Vice-Chancellor of the University, Vincent Chang, handed over the award at BRAC University's 13th convocation on November 23 at Army Stadium.

It is reported that Dalia Rahman completed her secondary and high school degree from Vikarunnisa Noon School and College and graduated in Economics from AIUB.

Upon graduation, she achieved the highest results in the Department of Development Studies at BRAC University. Later, she set herself up as an employer, not a job candidate. For this, she has taken various social initiatives.

After graduation, a non-profit organization called ‘Agroho’ was created which is dealing with healthcare at the grassroots level. In addition to the empowerment of women, the company has created a garment company called 'Dalise' Which produces clothing from ‘Agroho’ women and sells it in the market.
