Dakhil examinee killed in Jashore

A Dakhil examinee was stabbed to death by some miscreants at Bahadurpur village under Sadar upazila in jashore on Thursday night. He died on way to Dhaka at around 11 pm after being wounded at around 5:30pm, said relatives of the victim.

The deceased was identified as Sajib Hossain Samrat,16, student of Shah Waliullah Dakhil Madrassah, who was supposed to sit for the upcoming Dakhil examination  and also son of Md Tajuddin of Baro Baliadanga village under Jashore sadar upazila. Shahnaz Begum, mother of the victim said that her son died on way to Dhaka after giving first aid at Jashore General Hospital at around 11 pm on Thursday few hours after he was stabbed by some miscreants near the deport of Titas Gas at Bahadurpur while going to Jashore town by a bicycle at around 5.30 pm.

Apurba Hasan, officer in-charge, Jashore Kotwali police station said that the student could be killed over love affairs. The police were hunting the miscreants,’ he added.

A case was filed with police station and none was arrested in this connection.
