Red Crescent, Chattogram District Unit, distributed food packages to the families affected by cyclonic storm Remal in Banshkhali Upazila of Chattogram on Friday.
Food packages consist of rice, pulse, sugar, semolina, salt, oil, etc were distributed among the affected families of different unions at the Banshkhali Upazila Parishad auditorium in the morning. Bangladesh Red Crescent Society in association with Red Crescent Youth of Chattogram District Unit and Red Crescent’s Chattogram District unit distributed these food packages sent from Bangladesh Red Crescent National Headquarter.
Member of Red Crescent Working Council of Chattogram District unit, and Ward Counselor of 33 No. Firingi Bazar Hassan Murad Biplob, Youth Chief of Red Crescent of Chattogram District Unit, Krishna Das, members of youth working council and youth volunteers were present at that time.
