Chattogram WASA has taken initiative to solve the water crisis of the city dwellers in the month of Ramadan. A ‘monitoring team’ has been formed to keep the water supply uninterrupted for 24 hours. Chattogram WASA opened 4 control rooms.
According to CWASA sources, an additional 5 vehicles have been prepared to deliver water to the water crisis areas in a short time.
Besides, 4 control rooms have been opened in Agrabad, Mehedibagh, Kalurghat and Jubilee Road areas of the city. If there is a water crisis anywhere in the city, contact the concerned control room number and resolve it immediately.

Chattogram WASA Chief Engineer MaksudAlam said Sheikh Hasina Water Treatment Plant-2 has been launched.CWASA 80 million liters of water is being supplied daily from there. The water pressure is also gradually increasing in the water supply line. As well as we are monitoring every place. I am working on how to supply water by identifying the places where there is water crisis. A 'monitoring team' has been formed to resolve the water crisis during Ramadan. If there is a water problem somewhere, Atom will take action.
He further said that all arrangements including food have been made at the workplace so that no WASA official is attacked in Corona. Because if an officer-employee is affected by corona, the manpower will be reduced. There will be problems in water supply.
