Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) officers association executive committee biennial election held has been held. Deputy Director (Audit) Mohammad Yeasin Chowdhury was elected President, Security Officer Nahid Mahmud Vice President and Assistant Librarian Md. Jamal Hossain General Secretary.
After the polling in the CVASU Auditorium recently, Chief Election Commissioner and University Librarian Md. Habibur Rahman announced the election results.
The winners of other posts in the election are-Joint Secretary Jahangir Alam, Treasurer Rajiv Datta and Md Rezwan (joint winners), Department and Publicity Secretary Mohammad Golam Mawla, Literature, Cultural and Sports Secretary SM Jahedul Awal and Social Welfare Secretary ANM Zahid Hasan.
The members of the association were elected- Mohammad Jalal Uddin, Sudeep Chand and Kazi Mohammad Rokan Uddin. Network Engineer Nasim Ahmad and Section Officer Sahadat Hossain served as Election Commissioners in the biennial election of CVASU officers association executive committee.
